VEGETABLE FRIED RICE ( INDO CHINESE) :
Basmati Rice: 1 Cup
Cabbage Chopped:3/4 Cup
Capsicum:1 small
Carrot: 1 small
Beans: 2 no's
Spring Onion:8 no's
Pepper:1 1/2 tsp
Vinegar :1/2 Tbsp
Soy Sauce: 1 1/2 tsp
Olive Oil:4 Tbsp
salt : For Taste
Preparation:
1. Soak Basmati rice for an hour and cook rice.2 cup of water for 1 cup rice,allow to cool .
2. Cut the vegetables as long thin strips(carrot cabbage and capsicum)./Chop the base white part and green of the spring onion separately./ Chop beans thinly.
3.Heat the Broad pan and add olive oil.Add the white part of the spring onion first ,then carrot, beans,cabbage,and capsicum one by one frying each items 1 minutes and add ajinomoto if u like(not good for health).
4.Add the pepper , soy souse , vinegar and give it a stir .Add the green part of spring onion and give it a stir.
NB: All the processes under high flame only.
5. Transfer this to cooled rice along with salt and mix well.
Serve hot with Manchurian , chili chicken etc...
Note: Freshly prepared pepper powder is best.
