ചേ ന അച്ചാർ

Elephant yam pickle or Chena Achar.


Select the elephant yam that can be cooked easily, it cannot be cooked easily in all season due to its specialty. Peel the elephant yam and cut it into small pieces ( cube shape) and fry in oil, set aside. This is required 1cup.

Ingrediants

Fried Elephant yam 1 Cup
Garlic 15g
Chilly Powder 4 Table Spoon
Fenugreek roasted powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Asafoetida roasted Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Cooking oil 100ml
Salt For taste
Preparation:

Boil the oil in Pan
Add sliced garlic in it heat in gentle fire cook partially.
Add chilly powder and stir.
When it smells to good add elephant yam and stir well.
If you want to reduce the thickness add some boiled water or for sour taste add vinegar instead
sow Fenugreek,Asafoetida roasted Powder and add sufficient salt.Ready
