NICE PATHIRI

NICE PATHIRI  കുഴൽ പത്തിരി








ഇതു മലബാറിലെ  പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്  കോഴിക്കോട്  , മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളില ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഒ രു വിഭവം ആണ് .

This the most used food in Malabar . The best combination for pathiri is chicken  curry . The home made pathiri is very tasty. Even though you cannot get the same, there will be good pathiri available in hotels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Rice flour or idiappam podi - 1 1/2 glass .Water -  1 1/2 glass Salt - As reqd ,oil-1 tsp.

Method:

1)Boil water in a pan along with a tsp of oil and salt.2)When it boils, lower the flame to minimum.3)Add the flour to the water while stirring as you add.4)Keep stirring to make a smooth and soft dough.5)Remove from the flame when u feel the colour of the flour is changing and the dough has become soft.6)Make small balls off the dough and roll out like chapattis.7)Heat pan and place the pathiris on it.(Do not use oil as for chappathis.)8)Cook on both the sides.


Now Pathiri is ready.
NB: Dont Use Oil For Rolling.Use the same Rice Flour.
